• Estate has been family-run since 1900 • Estate produces traditional Cahors wine, aged in oak barrels – a high-end vintage “Amandine” made from old vines • Cultivated and harvested by hand, wine is aged and bottled at the domaine The Domaine de Maison Neuve, situated in the village of Boulvé in the Lot region, is a family-run estate since 1900, passed down from generation to generation, today operated by Michèle, Bernard and their son Cyrille Delmouly. Out of the 14 hectares of this vineyard, located between the Quercy blanc and the Vallée du Lot, 12 hectares are cultivated in A.O.C. Cahors on a clayey, ferrous and slightly calcareous soil. The vines, planted on the south facing hillside, take advantage of a perfect exposure all along the year for reaching an optimal level of ripeness of the grape. At equal distance from the Atlantic ocean, the Mediterranean sea and the Pyrénées, the Cahors vineyard benefits from a dry and sunny off-season that allows a refinement of the grapes ripeness. The Delmouly family, cultivating mainly the Malbec on its stony soil, produces charming and soft wines, dense in color, offering a harmony of blackfruit and spicy aromas.
