WHO This is a story of a dog named Trifula, who comes from the Italian region of Piemonte. He lives alone in the vineyards in a little house called ciabot, and rarely experiences anything special. Until one day… WHAT He noticed something buried by his favorite tree in the town of Alba… a genuine white truffle! The truffle was sold for 1.000.000 dollars at the world famous International Truffle Fair of Alba. This made Trifula so well-known…that a wine was named after him. Hence the name Trifula! WHERE Trifula’s hood Piemonte is a beautiful wine region in the northwest part of Italy. In this region there is a town called Alba. This is located in the Langhe area.
